The short version

We respect copyright. If something on Realistely infringes your work, send our designated agent a takedown notice with the details below and we'll act promptly. If your content was removed by mistake, you can file a counter-notice.

1.Our commitment

Realistely respects the intellectual property of others and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512. We respond to valid notices of alleged infringement and may remove or disable access to material we believe infringes someone's copyright.

2.Filing a takedown notice

If you believe content on realistely.com infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent that includes:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or someone authorized to act on their behalf;
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed;
  3. The URL or specific location of the allegedly infringing material on our Site, with enough detail to locate it;
  4. Your name, address, telephone number, and email address;
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
  6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

4.Counter-notification

If your material was removed or disabled and you believe this was a mistake or misidentification, you may send our agent a counter-notice that includes:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature;
  2. Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal;
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification;
  4. Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district (or, if outside the U.S., any district where we may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice.

We may restore the removed material in 10–14 business days unless the original complainant files a court action.

5.Repeat infringers

We will, in appropriate circumstances, restrict or terminate access for users who are repeat infringers.

6.Misrepresentations

Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), anyone who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing — or was removed by mistake — may be liable for damages. Please be sure before you file.
