About Realistely

About us

Who runs Realistely?

A small founding team builds, writes, and edits everything on Realistely today. Each lead owns a part of the home journey — first-time buyers, sellers, renters, homeowners, and small-scale investing. You can read about each of them on the About page.

Is Realistely a licensed real estate agency or law firm?

No. Realistely is an independent publisher. We are not a brokerage, law firm, lender, or licensed advisor, and our team are researchers and writers — not your agent or attorney. For decisions about a specific property, contract, loan, or tax situation, always consult a licensed professional in your area.

Where is Realistely available?

We publish in English to readers everywhere. Because property law, pricing, and tax rules are local, our guides are written for specific situations and point to the licensed authorities that govern them in your jurisdiction.

How does Realistely make money?

Three ways: advertising on our free guides, our own digital products, and some recommended products and services where we may earn a commission (affiliate links) at no extra cost to you. None of these influence what we publish. Full detail is in our Disclaimer.

Our content

Guides & articles

How do you research your guides?

We rely on licensed and authoritative sources — bodies like HUD, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, the National Association of Realtors, and state real estate divisions. Every money or law claim ties back to a cited source, and time-sensitive guides carry a "last verified" date.

Do you use AI to write your articles?

We may use AI tools to help with research, outlining, and drafting. All published content is reviewed by our team, and any claim about money or law is checked against and cited to licensed sources. AI is never the final authority on what we publish.

How current is your content?

Laws, rates, and processes change. Our time-sensitive guides carry a "last verified" date, and we revisit them as the rules move. If you spot something that needs updating, please tell us.

Can I trust Realistely for advice on my situation?

Our content is general education, not advice tailored to your circumstances. It's a calm, sourced starting point — but for an actual decision about your property, contract, mortgage, or tax position, talk to a licensed professional in your jurisdiction.

Can I republish or translate your articles?

No — our content is copyrighted. Quoting a short passage with clear attribution and a link back is fine. For anything more substantial, email legal@realistely.com. Using our content to train AI models is not permitted.

Digital products

Ebooks, guides & bundles

What kind of digital products do you sell?

Ebooks, guides, checklists, templates, and bundles covering each stage of the home journey — first-time buying, selling, renting, homeownership, and small-scale investing. New formats are added as we grow.

How do I get my product after I buy?

Instantly. After checkout you receive a download link by email and on the order confirmation page. If anything fails to download or you don't receive access, email us within 14 days and we'll resend the file or restore access.

What format are the products in?

Guides and ebooks are delivered as PDF. Templates and checklists are provided in formats you can edit where it makes sense (for example, editable documents and spreadsheets). The product page lists exactly what's included.

Do you offer refunds?

No. Because digital products are delivered immediately, all sales are final. What we will always do is fix genuine delivery or file problems — if a download fails or a file is corrupted, contact us within 14 days and we'll make it right. Full details are in our Terms of Service.

Can I share my purchase with friends or family?

Each purchase is licensed for personal, non-commercial use by a single user. Please don't redistribute, resell, or post the files publicly. If you'd like a team or organization license, email legal@realistely.com.

Recommended products

Affiliate & recommendations

Are your recommended products affiliate links?

Some of them are. If you sign up or buy through one of our recommended links, we may earn a commission — at no extra cost to you. Your price is the same as it would be otherwise. Full disclosure is on our Disclaimer page.

How do you choose what to recommend?

Editorially. We feature products and services as editorial picks based on our own assessment of whether they're worth your time. Recommendations are never sold, and earning a commission does not change what we recommend or what we say about it.
